The San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association invites you to Noche de Gala 2013. Noche de Gala is our major annual fundraiser, benefitting the nonprofit Bay Area Latino Lawyers Fund, which provides grants to deserving law students working in areas including immigration law and housing.
This year’s Noche de Gala will take place on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco. The evening will start at 6 p.m. with cocktails, followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Our master of ceremonies for the evening will be Emmy Award winning news anchor Ysabel Duron. Our honorees this year are:

This year's keynote speaker will be, Maria Echaveste, Policy and Program Development Director at the Chief Justice Earl Warren Institute on Law and Social Policy, Berkeley School of Law. Our mistress of ceremonies will again be Ysabel Duron, KRON4 anchor and founder of Latinas Contra Cancer. We will also be joined by The Honorable Cruz Reynoso for the ceremonial swearing in of the 2013 Board of Directors. And, of course, no Noche de Gala would be complete without music and dancing.
Last year’s Noche de Gala sold out completely and we expect this year to be no less exciting. Noche de Gala is not only an opportunity to recognize terrific law students, but is also a great time to renew acquaintances and make new friends.
On behalf of the 2013 Board of Directors of San Francisco La Raza Lawyers Association, we hope that you will join us in celebrating our legacy of advocacy in the Bay Area, and our continued efforts to support new generations of Latino/a leaders.
